Great family owned restaurant. Holy mother the gyro is incredible. It's so much food first of all and the meat is seasoned to perfection. You have to get the fries. They are perfect. 10/10
Never disappointed! My food is always fresh! The service is great and very friendly!
Never had a bad meal here. Pizza is crispy, Greek style, and very good. The one exception, for me, is the mushrooms. They have an odd texture, and I think they are canned, sliced mushrooms. Can't figure that one out, as everything else is so fresh tasting and good. Sandwiches are all toasty and yummy. Calzones are great, our favorite being the Hawaiian. Chicken Parm and Italian entrees are all delicious, and orders are easily enough for 2 people/meals! Served with a large, side salad (with fresh mozzarella or feta cheese)....choose their house Greek dressing! Also, comes with garlic bread. Note that their meat sauce is VERY meat heavy, like a Bolognese sauce, and quite mild tasting. The chicken (and also the pork) souvlaki is probably our favorite, though. It's hard to beat their marinated meats atop one of their fresh, fluffy, toasty pita breads (available to purchase to go!). Heavely! Add the fresh "Tzatziki" sauce, and you've got one delicious sammie! Their french fries are THE BEST anywhere. Fries are usually just so- so and forgettable for me....not these! Crispy and golden on the outside ( think very lightly breaded) and impossibly fluffy and flavorful on the inside! The ONLY place I bother to "add fries" to anything. The waitresses (and owner) are always so nice and pleasantly attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and is rather like eating at a friend's. The bathrooms are always clean ( big, single rooms -his and hers). The restaurant and parking is completely and easily accessible to someone in a wheelchair or with a mobility issue/aid. They have multiple tvs to watch sports games, if you are so inclined. But, volume is down with subtitles, so it's not drowning out conversations. Great place to gather with friends or family for a memorable meal.

We finally got an opportunity to try Pizza House of Powdersville. First let me say our server was over the top fantastic. She was really nice and efficient. Nice work! With that said the food was delicious and fresh. My only concern was the size of the wings. To me they were small and lacking but delicious nonetheless. The pizza was very tasty and the calzone hit the spot. Very nice atmosphere and we are looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again!
The food is always excellent. It’s fresh. The entrees and salads are always super fresh and delicious!! I will recommend this place to anyone any day of the week except for Sunday & Monday. They are closed for rest.
As always, the food is delicious, fresh and hot! They make my favorite salad with feta and Greek dressing. I have tried half of the menu and never had anything bad here! I'm always too full for dessert...maybe one day I'll get one to go. Of course, I'll be back! 11/1/2024 Update: It's still my favorite Italian/Mediterranean place in Anderson County! I've been to 7 others in the County and this is, by far, my favorite! The chicken parmesan is sooo good. My husband loves the pizza. I still haven't had any bad food or service here!
Our family discovered Pizza House of Powdersville a couple of months ago. We have been every other Wednesday since! Last night was calzones, stuffed cheese shells and cheese pizza. I love the salads! Fresh and in a cold bowl no wilted lettuce ! Other items we've had are bacon cheese fries, fettuccine, Italian sub, super sub, and stuffed shells with marinara. I'm sure I'm missing something! Fresh food made to order, friendly staff, clean (including the bathroom) great place check it out!
